Our Homes
Community Homes was established in 1995 to provide affordable and supportive housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in King County. We currently serve more than 50 residents in both our Adult Family Home and Shared Living models. We select and support live-in care providers who create an environment for our residents to grow and experience independence in the community.
All our homes employ best practices in the areas of:
- Personal care services
- Community involvement
- Social & emotional support
- Self-determination
- Health & wellness

Our Educational Programs

Community Homes is committed to helping families understand and navigate the housing journey.
Our Housing Readiness Workshops are offered throughout Washington State and provide information regarding the stepping stones for accessing housing, understanding DSHS services and the outlining the different models available.
Due to Covid-19, we have transitioned all our workshops into a webinar format. We will be offering a range of expanded topics as well. Click HERE to see a full list of workshops!
